The Dental Lab’s Complete Guide to Better Lab-Dentist Communication
Dentistry IQ takes the time to outline exactly what dental lab owners need to do to nurture better relationships with their dentists. According to the article, there are three types of dentists labs deal with including new, current and distanced and each type of dentist requires a different communicative approach. Take a look at these approaches and see which one best describes your relationships.

Evil Orbs
Abrasives, the plastic beads found in toothpaste and face scrubs, are poisoning the fish in our country’s rivers and lakes. New York alone rinses 19 tons of microbeads down its drains each year. The microbeads are too small to be caught by municipal water filters, which allows them to easily flow into the world’s oceans, rivers and lakes. In water, the beads can break down, causing them to release toxins or become coated with other poisons such as PCBs.

Celebrations and Trust
Take a look at real-life examples of how you can make your patients feel like a part of the family outside of the annual birthday card. Dr. Larry Stanleigh walks through the various ways he and his practice have made an effort to their patients feel like family by recognizing, milestone anniversaries, weddings, births and so much more through handwritten notes and flower arrangements.
