Fillings ‘could do more harm than good’ if technique not right, dentists warn
According to research conducted by the Journal of Dentistry, fillings could do more harm than good. Done poorly, the practice can increase decay and mean more fillings are needed in other teeth. The study found that six out of 10 teeth which were next to a filling had also decayed after five years.

Halloween Recipes Are Certified Safe for Orthodontia
The American Association of Orthodontists has released a series of Halloween recipes that are safe for consumption with braces. Along with the recipes, the AAO also has some practical advice for practitioners on how to advise their patients on taking care of their teeth during the Halloween season. The president of the AAO suggests encouraging patients to avoid any foods that are hard, sticky, chewy and crunchy, but to also be realistic and realize sugar is a part of Halloween.

3 Ways You Can Help Eliminate Staff Drama in the Dental Office
